信息技术 is an excellent career for technically savvy students who enjoy working with computers. Computer and information technology occupations are projected to grow 12 percent over the next ten years according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor 统计数据.

Students may select from a variety of technical pathways including Information Systems, 计算机编程 and Development, 一般的研究, Web开发, and Artificial Intelligence. Students can pursue an Associate in Applied Science degree, or, 对于一些路径, choose from a variety of shorter diploma or certificate programs to jump start a new career or enhance a current career.  Diploma programs do not require a lot of general education courses so they can be completed sooner than an associate’s degree while Certificate programs offer ‘bite-sized’ pieces of education that can provide practical workplace skills in a short period of time.
